Do you remember summers at Grandpa's farm?

Picture this: Friday evening rolls around. You’ve wrapped a long week of meetings, shuttled kids to summer camp, taken mom or dad to the doctor, and answered your 75th email. All you want is to sit down at the table with your family — to fill your heart with real conversations, face-to-face, and fill your tummy with real food.

That’s exactly why AJ and I chose to raise Claire, Colt, Hattie, and Emma on our family farm. We wanted them to learn the same life lessons we grew up with: You can’t leave until the job is done. Always shut the gate behind you. Sharing the work and the reward feels better than doing it all yourself. And animals are God’s gift — to be cared for.

Our customers tell us all the time that eating our beef and pork takes them right back to the good old days — Sunday dinner at Grandma’s, with real meat from animals raised right. It carries on those family traditions with meals that are flavorful, filling, and made with care.

Bringing back even a small piece of those memories from Grandpa’s farm starts with our pasture-raised beef and pork. There’s something special about feeding your family honest protein from a young farm family carrying on traditions. No weird stuff — just good food that makes you feel great about what’s on the table.

I loved dinners at Oma's house. Meat, potatoes, and a vegetable. Sometimes from the garden. And ALWAYS a dessert. Maybe a Schwan's ice cream bar, maybe a raspberry kuchen cake! And we always finished with a game of Uno, and stories about the farm, my dad as a kid, and Oma's childhood.
